About Alan Thuma
Alan has been a realtor at Vanguard Properties since 2010. During this time, he’s worked with an array of clients through ever-changing market conditions.
Originally from Sitka, Alaska, Alan grew up primarily in Bellingham, WA, attended UC Santa Cruz and later got his MFA in creative writing from Saint Mary’s College. Since 2006, San Francisco has been home to him. As both a homeowner as well as a landlord, Alan understands the many facets of real estate; he empathizes with his clients, practices patience when it’s needed, moves rapidly as needed, and always has has their best interests front and center. It’s how he earns trust. He prides himself on his referral business.
When not selling real estate, he enjoys catching live shows and hanging out with his partner and their cat.
